Meet

Anne-Marie & Victoria

We are a mother-daughter duo, now grandmother and mother, who've both walked away from careers we thought we'd have for life.

FemPhase was born from lived experience. Menopause discrimination. Maternity bias. Unfair workplace investigations. Career endings we didn't choose. All while navigating the deeply personal shifts of menopause, pregnancy, traumatic birth recovery, and identity reinvention.

We know what it's like to give everything - to a career, a cause, or a uniform - and still be made to feel replaceable. We know what it's like to be overlooked, unsupported, or pushed out just when you needed understanding the most.

That's why we built what we couldn't find —
a safe, honest, empowering space for women in the emergency services, NHS & military - both civilian and uniformed - to recover, rebuild and rise again.

Whether you're still serving, but feeling burnt out & overlooked, transitioning into civilian life, navigating pregnancy, postpartum, peri and menopause at work, facing workplace discrimination or identity loss after leaving your role, ready to explore a new career or start your own business - FemPhase is here for you.

We talk about the things no one prepared us for —workplace injustice, discrimination, burnout, career loss, rebuilding confidence, finding purpose & creating a future on your terms.

We're not here to tell you who to be. We're here to remind you: you already are who you need to be - now let's help you believe it again.

More about Anne-Marie

Co-Founder of Femphase | Certified Life & Wellbeing Coach | First-Time Grandmother | Menopause Mentor

Hello! I’m Anne-Marie, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way to our website.

After dedicating 17 fulfilling years as a police officer and an additional 3 years as a police civilian member, I transitioned to embrace the beauty and skincare industry, fuelled by my passion for helping others feel their best. With a background in sales, along with a Level 7 Masters in Teaching and Level 6 Master Coaching qualifications, I’m here to share my journey and support those who find themselves at a crossroads in their careers.

Throughout my time in law enforcement, I faced the challenging realities of discrimination, bullying, victimization, and unfair investigations. My retirement through injury, compounded by the misunderstanding and lack of support, left me feeling pushed out of the very organisation I dedicated my life to. As a mother and grandmother, witnessing the same struggles my daughter faced in terms of maternity discrimination within the public sector only deepened my resolve to make a difference for others.

I understand how isolating it can be to navigate the complexities of the public sector, particularly for women in emergency services and the military. Menopause symptoms, gender bias, and pressing workplace challenges can create an overwhelming sense of uncertainty. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to empower individuals in both officer and civilian roles to rise above these hurdles.

Through my service, I provide support in crafting compelling CVs, mastering the interview process, and navigating the relevant legal and HR channels. Whether you feel forced to resign or are still tangled in the organization, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence and strength.

I truly believe that no one should feel alone in their journey, and I am committed to being a compassionate guide for those in need. Let’s connect and open the door to new possibilities together—I’m here for you every step of the way.

Lots of love, Anne-Marie x

More about Victoria

Co-Founder of Femphase | New Mum | Ex-Public Sector Professional | Hormone Health & Intuition Advocate

Hi, I’m Victoria — co-founder of FemPhase, psychology graduate, and proud mum to a beautiful baby boy who’s already flipped my world upside down in the best way possible.

Becoming a mother has been the most transformative, but challenging experience of my life. I had a tough pregnancy and a traumatic birth, followed by six months of breastfeeding that tested every part of me — physically, emotionally, mentally. The recovery was raw, and the identity shift even harder.

Before all of this, I worked in public sector role in a high-pressure, and detail-focused role — a career that taught me how to analyse, solve, and support under pressure. My background in Psychology gave me a deep understanding of human behaviour, resilience and the impact of stress and systemic barriers on wellbeing.

But when I tried to return from maternity leave, I experienced first-hand the reality of workplace discrimination and lack of support for new mothers. Flexible working was resisted, understanding was absent and I felt pushed to choose between my career and my child. Ultimately, I had to walk away from a career I worked hard to build - not because I wanted to leave, but because the system made staying unsustainable.

The experience lit a fire within me. I saw how many women - in the public sector, NHS & military - face similar discrimination, burnout, and loss of identity. I knew I didn't just want to talk about it, but I wanted to fight it and create change. That’s where FemPhase was born.

My mum and I — two women in completely different chapters of life — found ourselves both navigating huge transitions. I was becoming a mother. She was becoming a grandmother Both trying to rebuild after careers we thought we would be in for life. We were each questioning who we were and what came next. We wanted to create a safe & empowering space for women to heal, rebuild and rise again - personally and professionally.

Now I pour my expertise in psychology, professional experience and personal journey into helping other women reclaim their confidence, rebuild their careers or businesses, and remember their worth.

You are not alone, you are not too much and one career ending doesn't mean your story has too.

Welcome to FemPhase.
I’m so glad you’re here.
